QAs a foldable canoe, how long can it be used for?

The material used to form the main body of MYCANOE is 5mm Poly-Prophylene plastic, and so it can be folded and unfolded about 20,000 times. This is called a living hinge function, and MYCANOE was developed with this characteristic. If it is folded and stored indoors without being left in the sunlight for a long time after use, we can confidently say that it will be sufficient for long-term use.

QWhere can I ride MYCANOE?

MYCANOE can be used in calm water, whether it is a river, a lake, or the sea. It can be used in any river, lake, etc., in the country, but use in source water protection areas is prohibited. In Seoul, canoeing is possible between Jamsil Bridge and Gayang Bridge. In Korea, you can usually reach a river or lake where you can canoe within an hour by car, so please enjoy MYCANOE around where you live.
QCan I ride MYCANOE without notifying anyone?

Non-motorized boats such as canoes and kayaks can be used without making any special notification, but for canoeing in the Han River, in principle, you must fill out a notification form at the nearest Han River Management Center before canoeing. QWhat points should I pay attention to when using MYCANOE?

MYCANOE is a soft canoe that folds and unfolds. Therefore, if you need to canoe in a rough environment, it is better to use a hard plastic or aluminum boat rather than MYCANOE. Damage may occur if MYCANOE is dragged over sharp stones or on cement, or assembled and disassembled while stepping on the inside of the canoe. In addition, if you leave it outdoors and expose it to UV for a long time after use, the lifespan may be shortened, so please take care. You can use it for a long time if you use it with these points in mind.
QWhat should I do if it gets punctured or damaged?

When you buy MYCANOE, we provide a repair kit that includes waterproof rubber tape. Light holes or punctures can be repaired with waterproof rubber tape, but if the hull is severely damaged, please contact MYCANOE.
QCan I use it with a kayak paddle?

You can use a kayak paddle with MYCANOE, but we recommend using a kayak paddle over 230 cm in length, as MYCANOE is quite wide. We also recommend using a towel, a cloth, or a kayak skirt to avoid getting wet from any water that runs down the paddle.
QHow does it compare to an inflatable boat?

The biggest advantage of inflatable boats or rubber boats is high stability. MYCANOE is a product that comes somewhere in between a wooden canoe and an inflatable boat. All products have their pros and cons, so it is best to select a product according to your usage and needs.
QHow many people can ride in MYCANOE Solo and Duo?

Some people ask if 2 people can ride in MYCANOE Solo, but the space in MYCANOE Solo is suitable for 1 person, so it is difficult for additional people to board. Please note, however, that while MYCANOE Duo seats two people, there is enough space in the middle to accommodate one additional adult if they sit on the floor.
QCan I put a motor on MYCANOE?

You can use a motor by installing the MYCANOE Motor Bracket. The canoe has a symmetrical shape with a sharp stern and bow, so when using the motor, you can turn the handle a little more or use the paddle or oar like a rudder to control the canoe’s direction. The motor can be either a battery-powered guide motor or an oil-powered engine. Less than 5 horsepower can be used without a license, and it is recommended that the weight of the motor or engine is not too heavy, less than around 15 kg.
